museum kunst palast in Düsseldorf has a new director. On 24 November 2006, the Foundation’s board of trustees unanimously appointed Beat Wismer, director of the Aargauer Kunsthaus in Aarau, Switzerland, as the new General Director of the Foundation museum kunst palast. Wismer commenced his position on 1 March 2007. In the Swiss and international art scene Wismer has received particular recognition for his major thematic exhibitions.
